Meet Dr. Michael Solomon
Dr. Michael Solomon has been practicing orthodontics since June of 2004. As a teenager, he became interested in various medical professions, but through the guidance of his childhood dentist, he was led toward the oral healthcare profession. Dr. Solomon’s innate attention to detail is in part what makes being an orthodontist so rewarding.
For Dr. Solomon, the most gratifying thing about orthodontics is seeing the transformation in his patients’ self-confidence as they go through treatment. He finds it truly exciting to watch a person who used to hide his or her smile become a person who smiles wholeheartedly and confidently.
Dr. Solomon is committed to the highest standard of care. Each person’s needs are both unique and different, and the challenge of creating the best possible outcome for each patient is what keeps his profession exciting.
Education and Experience
Dr. Solomon was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when he was very young. He spent his entire childhood there until he moved to Austin, Texas to attend the University of Texas. His Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Orthodontic Residency were both completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch. Dr. Solomon regularly attends continuing education courses, which enable him to keep current with the most up-to-date topics of his specialty, allowing him to treat his patients with the best technology and techniques.

Outside the Office
Dr. Solomon is blessed to have three children, two sons and a daughter, and to round out the family a chocolate lab named Jack. In his free time, Dr. Solomon enjoys being outside, whether he is boating, golfing, or watching his sons play baseball or his daughter play soccer. Dr. Solomon is most passionate about his faith and his family, and through both of these, he feels can be successful and help others.
